General Information

Emergency Medicine Summer School (EMSS) 2025 will take place in Zadar, from July 29 to August 5, 2025, organized by EMSA Zagreb (European Medical Student Association).
The program includes emergency medicine education, practical workshops, and an Immediate Life Support(ILS) courseand exam.

Application Process & Selection

Applications are to be submitted via the official websiteand will be open from April 1 at 9:00 AM until June 15 at 12:00 PM.
Although June 15 is the official closing date, applications will remain open until all spots are filled.
Upon applying, each applicant will receive an automatic confirmation email acknowledging their submission. However, spots are not allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Instead, the selection team will choose 40 participants based on the following criteria:
– Year of study(preference given to senior students)
– Motivation letterevaluation
Each applicant will receive an email within two weeks informing them whether their application has been acceptedor declined.

Motivation Letter

The motivation letter must be submitted during the application process via our official application siteand is an integral part of each submission.
After filling in general and personal information, potential participants will be prompted to provide a motivation letter.
The motivation letter should be 200-250 words long and answer the following questions:
– Why do you want to participate in EMSS 2025?
– Why should you be selected?
The motivation letter must be written in English.
Applicants are encouraged to write a clear and compelling motivation letter, as it plays a crucial role in the selection process.

Confirmation & Payment

If selected, participants will receive a confirmation email with further instructionsand payment details.
The participation fee for EMSS 2025 is €550, which includes:
✔ Accommodationfor the entire duration of the program
✔ Three mealsper day
✔ ILScourse and exam

Refund Policy

Until June 15, 2025 – full refund available
After June 15, 2025 – no refundswill be issued
